Anna Stief



Anna studied biology in Göttingen and Umeå with a focus on developmental biology, zoology and botany. After her studies she worked as a research assistant in Pune (India) and Cambridge (UK) before starting her PhD in Isabel’s lab.
She has two main PhD projects: (1) understanding the involvement of the microRNA machinery and specific miRNAs in recurring heat stress, and (2) studying the costs and benefits of heat stress memory in field experiments.
