Vicky Oberkofler

Vicky obtained both her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences and Master’s in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Bologna. Before starting her PhD, she worked briefly at the Laimburg Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry, investigating the molecular interaction between apple trees and the phytopathogen that causes apple proliferation disease.

In the Bäurle lab, Vicky is interested in studying the role of histone modifications during maintenance of acquired thermotolerance in Arabidopsis.
